Sew Alice is the design and sewing of Alice Hiller - a new venture in 2013 which began with an Etsy store for e-reader pouches.

I learned to sew and knit at the Toronto Waldorf School. Mrs. Rudolph was our handwork teacher, I loved everything about her class, I'd found my passion. I went on to design aerobic wear in the 1980's - AHwear and began making bibs and towels for my kids in the 1990's - BibbityBop.com

Bibbity Bop bibs has been a wonderful creative outlet for my sewing since 2005 and my adult bibs continue to be the most popular product. Making the bibs creates loads of scraps, overflowing boxes and bags stuffed into every storage spot in the studio, then a very clever friend asked me to make a padded zippered case for her e-reader.  Finally, the perfect way to use those scraps and my lovely embroidery machine to make something special and really useful.

I hope you enjoy using and gifting Sew Alice products. The items for sale on this web site have evolved with great care, attention to detail and customer feed back, everything is handmade by me in my smoke-free home studio. I am continually working on new designs, please stay tuned for new items and new fabric selections.
